Sharon Fruit

Sharon Fruit are the seedless variety of the Fuyu persimmon. Sharon fruit can be eaten while firm, the outer skin does not need to be peeled and discarded and there are no seeds in the crisp flesh. It can be enjoyed when crisp like an apple or soft as a peach.

Firm fruit can be stored at room temperature to further ripen. Ripe fruit can be stored in the fridge.

A single Sharon Fruit provides one half the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin A (Beta Carotene) and over 100% of the daily requirement of Vitamin C
